Grand Turk has an old world charm with Bermudian, colonial architecture, 140 year old light house brought over from England that sits at the north end of the island and buildings with walled courtyards to keep wandering donkeys from dining on the folliage adds to the old world charm. Grand Turk population is approximately 3,000, many of whom work for the government there. In the past year cost of owning a beachfront land has doubled and now one could expect to pay over $200,000 for a lot on the water if it were available. |
