Turks and Caicos Real Estate - Stamp Duty

Stamp Duty Reduction!
The Government of Turks and Caicos Islands has just
announced a reduction in stamp duty from now, to March 31st, 2009. 

Providenciales down to 6%
Outer Islands 3% until March 31st, 2009!

Stamp duty is a one-time tax on real estate that is due to the government each time property changes hands.
Purchasers up until now have paid 9.75% on property but now  for this limited period of time the amount
is being reduced to just 6% in Providenciales.*
